Board rules

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on TChapman500.com. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

  1. General Rules

    1. Absolutely no vulgar or obscene content is allowed on this site. This includes text, images, videos, and any other type of media that can contain vulgar content. This rule applies to Satanic/demonic content and will be strictly enforced. #
    2. All content posted on this site must be G-rated. Absolutely no "adult" or "mature" content is allowed. #
    3. Piracy (or the discussion thereof) will not be tolerated on this site. #
    4. Do not make any threats to do harm to anyone or their property, or threaten or plan to do violence in any way. Breaking this rule will result in an immediate permanent ban (without warning) and possibly a police report. #
    5. The board rules are made to be as simple as possible and as easy to understand as possible. That being said, please do not attempt to deliberately exploit any loopholes that may be in these rules. And if in doubt, go ahead and post. #
    6. All posts are to be made in English and are to use proper grammar and punctuation. Mistakes are allowed, but blatant disregard for this rule will not be tolerated. #
  2. User Registration

    1. Usernames must comply with the General Rules section above. #
    2. Do not impersonate, or attempt to impersonate, any user on this forum or anywhere else. Doing so will result in an immediate and permanent ban on all of your accounts. #
    3. Only one account is allowed per user. If it is discovered that you are using an alt account, all of your alt accounts will be permanently banned, and your primary account will be issued a warning. #
    4. Do not attempt to bypass a suspension or ban by registering a new account. Doing so will result in the new account being permanently banned, and your suspension will be extended. #
    5. All newly-registered users will be automatically placed on the moderation queue until they have made three posts that have been accepted. The moderation queue is meant to filter-out spam bots. #
    6. The database will be randomly purged of all newly registered users who have not activated their account within three days of registration. This will eventually change so that the website automatically deletes newly registered users if they have not activated their account within 24 hours. #
    7. Banned Emails

      1. If we notice spambots generally using a specific email domain, we may issue a ban on that domain (or pattern of addresses). If your email is banned by accident because of this, let us know so that we can add your email address to the exceptions list. Then you may try again with your registration attempt. #
      2. If you are already a member of this site and your email fits the criteria of a ban that was issued, thereby preventing you from accessing the website, contact us right away and we'll add your email address to the exceptions list. #
      3. We will only ban whole email address domains as a last resort to prevent spam-bots. #
  3. Avatars and Signatures

    1. All avatars and signatures must comply with section 1 of the site rules. #
    2. Signature Images

      1. Only one image is allowed in your signature. #
      2. Signature images may be a maximum of 500 pixels wide and 100 pixels high. #
    3. The total height of the signature (including the image and text) may not exceed 150 pixels. #
    4. Any avatar or signature restriction that is not listed here will be enforced by the website automatically. Signature image sizes will also be automatically checked. #
